The education that humanity needs is the holistic education of Ramon Gallegos. A new education that allows it to evolve to higher levels of thought and integrity, both require at a paradigm shift, a new way of looking at education completely new about the human need for an evolutionary change, vertical transformation of achieve a holistic view of education by level of consciousness, which it says is the appropriate educational vision. Ramon Gallegos as expressed in this book that humanity needs education, that education is one thing as another world of life and the educational system that is systemic, the latter is the main obstacle to achieving a high level view, holistic and spiritual education for the XXI century.
This paper aims to introduce the field of holistic education is the proposal to reconstruct the typical schools of the twentieth century in dynamic organizations, alive, open, cross-disciplinary and as spiritual spaces for spiritual self-realization of each of its members. This test was developed based on three books, "The education that humanity needs", "Education for life and peace" and "learning communities" of Ramon Gallegos.
Holistic education is education for life, which aims to help students develop the ability to love the world, plants, animals, etc.. Integral Education is an answer for humanity to develop in all aspects but especially in spirituality as this is the basis of awakening to reality.
Holistic Education states that the external action must be an expression of inner life, referring to the new paradigm of holistic education that should lead to a change, a revolution of consciousness with a sense and universal love, a transformation.
Our current problem is human, that is a problem of evolution of consciousness and we must be prepared to fully understand the world we inhabit and to understand ourselves. Education makes us mechanistic robotic beings and only see the academic and not see beyond. You can not have an Integral Education Holistic or mechanistic teachers. With this mechanistic education is preparing students for work but not to live life.
The distinction between the mission of traditional mechanistic educator and Holistic Educator is based on a potential student, while another is rigid, mechanistic and closed. The real difference in a mechanistic and a holistic education is the awareness of educators. Raising the level of consciousness implies a change in how we view the world and ourselves and involves especially finish with ideas and false beliefs. The evolution of consciousness is a process of liberation from ignorance of our nature.
