Cheap Online Learning

The use of podcasts to replace conferences and online workshops that help students work through materials previously delivered seminars could affect performance.

The OCR board exam across the country have created a pilot project for the new qualifications which currently equates to GCSE and A level courses. Funded by a grant of £ 96,000 funding agency skills that focus on independent learning, reducing the time students spend in the classroom by providing online teaching. Unions fear that the economic style of teaching the students could mean losing life support.

By October 2010 George Osbourne, minister responsible for financial affairs of the country, announced it will cut 40% to universities teaching budgets.

Despite being combined with an almost threefold increase in the limit of the tuition fees of hundreds of teaching jobs have been fired before the start of the next academic year, which means that institutions are taking advantage of Internet take over the functions previously paid employees conducted.

Adrian PRANDLER, education policy adviser in the ATL union, described how students who struggle with their education benefit greatly from contact time with teachers, said:

"Acts as a podcast for learning should be in addition to time with the teachers, not instead of it. The important projects like this is that they have the class entry at each stage."

This is the first attempt was made to change the design of the ratings to save money. If the pilot scheme is successful OCR new titles could be introduced in September 2012.

OCR's chief executive, Mark Dawes insist on the redesigned courses still need to provide students, as well as universities and employers. He said: "In these difficult times, one answer could be to provide" less for less ", but the real challenge is to offer" more for less'. "
